Mercè Sánchez is the Program Manager for Global Food Standards at BRCGS. Mercè is an Agricultural Technical Engineer, with a specialty in Food Industries from the UPC (Catalunya Politecnic University) and Food Science and Technology from the UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona). She has extensive experience in the food industry and has worked as a GFSI auditor across a wide range of certification standards for most of the last 18 years. This includes BRCGS Food Safety, IFS Food, Broker, Wholesale / Cash & Carry, FSSC22000 - Food Safety / Packaging, IRCA-CQI Lead Auditor Tutor for FSMS, IFS TTT and FSMS GTSM.
